Another Repurposed Photo Holder for my Gallery Wall
August 14, 2015
I picked up this Ritz wooden foot scale at the antique shop yesterday for $6.
I have had this frame since the 1980's.
I painted the frame with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White.
I purchased some Velcro circles at Menards.
After wet distressing the chalk paint with a wet terry rag and waxing it with ASCP Clear Wax, I placed the self adhesive Velcro circles on the back of the top and bottom of my frame. I also added the Velcro squares to the wooden Ritz foot scale. The Velcro keeps the frame in place.
The old photo is of my Grandma and her sister.
