Silver and Gold Vintage Button Jar Eggs
March 28, 2012
Remember my button jar Easter eggs?
I used the colored button eggs in my "Easter Suitcase Vignette" (in a collander) and in my "Little Spring Vignette" in a bowl/soapdish in the bathroom, but I still had the silver and gold button eggs that needed display. A small little sliver of the silver egg was visible in my "Vintage Easter Collectibles and an African Violet" post.
I tried to find a way to display them to show off all the neat old metal buttons used in their creation. I put them on a couple of hand mirrors in my bathroom.
Some really neat old buttons went in to the making of these Button Jar Eggs!

They really turned out fantastic, Carlene! That was a neat idea to display them the way you did. By placing them atop mirrors, you can see the pretty buttons on the bottom without even having to handle them. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking your creativity to Time Travel Thursday this week.

ReplyDeleteUnique and beautiful; I bet many are pulling out their button stash to make these lovely eggs--I want to try it too. So pretty on your vintage hand mirrors!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are so cool, and very unique. They look antique looking. Love them! I still have to decorate for Easter.
