I loved your summer/winter shots Carlene! Winter is pretty when you have fresh snow... but we sure long for spring, don't we? I think I'd rather weed than shovel. Stay warm!

How different summer is from winter, but I love the change of seasons. (Summer is too long and too hot, hah)

Brrrr. It makes me cold just looking at the contrast between the summer and winter photos. Beautiful photos, and the snow does look pretty -- I'm glad it's not here though. I know exactly what you're saying about the older I get the less I like being cold. laurie

Winter time has always been my favorite....but it COULD be because we seldom, if ever, get THIS much snow. :)

Christmas Greetings from South Texas where we never get any snow so I'm enjoying looking at yours all the more. Beautiful pictures.

It does look beautiful, Carlene, but I'm with you. We were lucky here last year in that whatever we got was melting and gone by afternoon. I hate driving in the snow so a snow day {or days} means I'm in the house until all the roads are clear. It's nice to see what your different gardening areas looked like in the Summer months.

We may get snow every three years and that is why we long for it. I know you are eager to get in that beautiful garden of yours after all this snow.

We are getting our first bit of snow tonight! Not sure whether I am looking at this as a positive or not! LOL Your photos showing the same decoration both in winter and summer is a great idea! I loved seeing the changes!

I understand the long winters and gray days (we lived in Chicago), but I do like the cold and the snow. Winters are a little too mild for me here in Virginia. Love the contrast of your pictures!

Each snowy day brings us closer to Spring...at least that's what my mantra is :-) Love your photos Carlene! What a great way to remember the beauty of summer under all of that snoe.

You took the words right out of my mouth sweetie. I say that same thing about Winter and getting older. We have a bit of snow here, but 5 min. South of us they have none. One thing that is nice in UT is that it snows, but the sun usually shines right after. All of that good moisture must help your beautiful garden. It is always gorgeous! I don't know about you, but as soon as Feb. arrives I start counting the days till Spring. Dreaming about it already. lol!

I will be the first to admit, I don't like winter at all.
I don't like the cold. I don't like the snow. I don't like any of it.
I would rather be pouring with sweat than freezing cold!
We have lucked out here in Southern IL, it has been a rather mild winter until today.
Today has been horrible.
I'm counting the days till Spring.
Till sunshine. Till warm temps. Till flowers and green grass. Yes that is me! Not winter!
I know others love it but not me. I would be perfectly okay being in shorts and having a picnic on Christmas Day. ;)

Looks similar here...wish I would have gotten out to take pics of outdoor decor before the big snow. I do like the snowy look though :)
