My Garden Step Ladder in Flea Market Gardens Magazine
February 06, 2013
While picking up dinner for my husband and I after work at the grocery store deli, I grabbed a copy Flea Market Gardens.
I just sat down to look at my new magazine and to my surprise, my contributed reader photo was on page 6.
I can't wait to get back out in my gardens!

what a lovely surprise for you, a real pat on the back to be recognized by such a great magazine! It is a beautiful photo and fits perfect with their them gardens to new heights!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! What a beautiful garden as well, the mix of decorations and flowers is such a lovely look, I love the tall blue bird house looking structure and the decorative flowers look so cute and happy. The step ladder does add height to the landscape and brings your eyes up, looks beautiful
I was at Barnes and Noble flipping through that magazine. I wish I had read this before so I could look for your photo.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the magazine made me hope for sunny weather for the presidents' weekend. I get a 4 day weekend from school and I need/want to work in my garden. My husband threatened to put pictures on my blog of what my garden is looking like right now. And it is supposed to rain this weekend.
Hope you get some garden time in.
Congrats Carlene on the magazine publishing your contribution photo. I am excited along with you and proud to see the handmade birdhouse and giant wood flower from The Tattered Angel store are a part of your beautiful garden!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being in the magazine! Love the gardens and this magazine looks like so much fun!

ReplyDeleteHi Carlene ... well how about that! ... Congratulations. Love that garden spot. Ladders are so much fun in the garden. I had two that rotted, so guess I did not protect them. On your advise, I will next time. I will have to get one of those magazines.

Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Carlene! What a wonderful surprise - you must have been sooooo excited when you saw it! And how fun that you are from I'Falls! I'm from Ely! Two of the coldest places to live in MN! LOL Which makes your photo of your flowers so much more beautiful! I love my garden in the summertime too...we get such a short time to nurture them that we have to enjoy it while we can! I love the idea of the ladder - I'll definitely have to add that to my gardens this summer! Come on sunshine and warm weather!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Charlene! What a really cool surprise, you must of been jumping up and down. I would peed my pants. Your garden looks so beautiful. I'm gonna use a ladder out in my garden this year too!
