Easter Basket Vignette
March 01, 2013
I just threw together an Easter basket for my coffee table.
Inside my basket is a bobble head chick.
A chick pillow.
Rag balls and my styrofoam button Easter eggs from last year.
A white lantern with a bobble head chick dressed like a bunny.
A Sixlet bouquet in a zinc pot.
Also a vase with pastel beaded branches and brown shredded paper.
A colorful springy Easter basket with items I had on hand.

ReplyDeleteLove your basket tray, that little chick is so fun. Also. your slipcover look fabulous. Having a neutral sofa is so fun to work with. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteVery sweet...but I tell you, I love the Chicky chicky pillow...that is precious!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I like all the color with the neutral sofa in the background. Had to chuckle as the chick in the glass cage (hah) reminded me of the glass cage where they put the people to be searched at the airport. Not where you want to be, hah. Love the bobble heads.
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!!! I remember those bobbleheads from last year and I loved them then! I've never seen anything like them....so darn cute!
ReplyDeleteI missed your button covered eggs though! Darling! What a great idea!
And who doesn't love a little chick pillow! You always do such a great job!
Easter makes me happy. Love this sweet vignette Carlene. I love your sofa cover too in the last post. It is funny how our likes change. I nearly bought a leather sofa today at an estate sale because our Shelley is a big ole mess and we think we need leather. Have a fabulous weekend, Olive
ReplyDeleteLove the button eggs...too cute and all of the other Easter goodies. Tiffany

Beautiful vignette!
ReplyDeleteLove the button covered eggs and the bobble-heads. I think I have some time-worn vintage chicks, maybe I can make them displayable. Love the vignette. Makes me want to get some Easter stuff out.

Don't ya just love 'playing' in your house? I dragged up two bins of Easter/Spring yesterday and fiddled around for an hour putting silly things together that make me smile when I walk past them. Small things amuse smalll minds and a chick who looks like a bunny hanging out in a lantern, well, that's CUTE!
ReplyDeleteCarlene, So cute and I love the button eggs. Too cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the button eggs. Did you make them? So cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't see how this could be any cuter!! Makes me smile :) Love the rag and button eggs you made, they are super darling!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable, Carlene!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!

That bobble head chick makes me smile! Love all the pastel colors! That candy would be long gone already at my house!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun colors, and I love sixlets, even though they really don't taste that great. I just love eating them out of the wrapper. Your eggs are adorable.

Adorable vignette, Carlene! I love the sixlet bouquet, it brings back memories of Easter baskets I got as a child.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking to TTT. This is stunning. Hugs, Marty
