From Funnels to Candy Corn
September 20, 2013
Funnels are one of my new collections.
The aluminum funnels are pretty abundant, and reasonably priced so I didn't worry much about spray painting the large funnel a yellowy gold, or
Painting the middle sized funnel orange. The middle sized funnel was also more tapered than the largest funnel making the candy corn shape more realistic.
But I drew the line on spray painting the enamel ware funnel. Luckily it was already white!
So with all the funnel handles lined up to the rear, I have three funnels repurposed as a candy corn! Easy!
It's cute with the handles showing too.

Cute idea! I always see funnels at estate sales, but didn't think beyond the obvious uses for them.
ReplyDeleteAnother great idea. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute and easy! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI could have looked at those funnels all day sitting right next to that container of candy corn and never come up with that idea! How do you think of these things? I've been trying to look at things with new eyes but I think I need a new brain too. I love it! I have funnels but not a one that looks like those! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is just the cutest creation ever! Adorable!
