More "Organized" Kitchen "Clutter"
March 02, 2014
Wall number two of my kitchen makeover is a difficult wall to decorate, and even harder to photograph with two windows, and a window in the door. I hung my newly re-purposed drawer shelf in between one window and the door, simply and rustically decorated with a small canister and a grater.
The only radiator in my house (the rest of the house has cast iron baseboard heat) has a red distressed wooden shelf on top for display. I love red in the kitchen!
My vintage cookbooks have an old meat grinder on one side and an old scale on the other for bookends.
More "organized clutter" on the shelf.
I am working on a few more things in rest of the kitchen. A full reveal of the makeover with some wider angle photographs is coming soon.
My red clock moved up higher on this wall, and I moved the feed sack sign from the door to this small section of wall. A vintage colander hangs in between the drawer and the sign.
This is a night time photo but is almost better than daytime shots of this wall. I hung another colander at the top.

ReplyDeleteHi Carlene! OH, this is so cute. Love your olden cheese grater and I have a colander like yours with the feet - it was my mothers. Hope you're doing well.
