Reclaimed Wood Flower Pot Holder for the Junk Garden

I was lucky to get some old weathered wood boards from the neighbor last fall.
I used a few of them on this Christmas sign here.
Today I made a terra cotta flower pot holder with two more of the weathered boards. We still have some snow on the ground so I am staging my potholder under my covered patio with faux plants. I plan to lean the potholder against a sunnier house wall in about a month and a half!
Project Tutorial
The boards were joined by adding three small scraps of wood. I didn't have to cut the weathered boards, mine were already the same size, 52 inches long.
I purchased two two packs of 3" light strap hinges.
Also three 5-6" hose clamps.
Next position your hose clamps and strap hinges on the boards. I attached the hose clamps with screws about 16 1/2" apart. The strap hinges, are just for looks, and were placed near the top and bottom of the boards and about 3 inches above the pots. Drill a hole through the hose clamp, and fasten with a screw. Screw the hinges in as well with the screws provided in the package.
My pots are 5 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" across the top. They fit perfectly in my hose clamps.
I can't wait to get outside and REALLY plant!
