Fall Junk Decorating with an Orange Pulley

I found an orange pulley today for $15 at No Place Like Home Again.

It's a little early to start changing up my outdoor summer decor but I had to play with my new pulley.  So I hung the pulley on my smaller rusty gate with a chain and hook.

 I added a wispy, fall candle ring, a "harvest" sign and a little raffia.  The pulley needed a little softening with fall foliage, but I didn't want to cover up much of the detail of the pulley.

I think this idea just may work on my fall covered patio.

You may be able to find a similar pulley on ebay!

    Of course you are already creating wonderful Fall funky junk decor. Love it Carlene! I was looking at pulleys at a vintage sale a week ago and was thinking I would like one. They were a little more pricey than I wanted to pay. I did however find a need hanging galvanized bucket with orange graphics while on vacay in Napa. Now I just need to do something fun with it. Maybe I need to hang it from my old gate. Thanks for the inspiration my friend!
