Vintage Decor on the Covered Patio 2015
June 18, 2015
The picket fence shelf that has hung on the garage wall of the covered patio is gone. I needed a change. Replacing the picket shelf is a pallet wood shelf with vintage metal trays. Above it, a barn wood frame with chicken wire and seed packets.
The garage's side door is tan and not terracotta. I found a fun wooden picture at a local floral shop for the door, and to the left is my laundry tub on a pedestal project and the rusty spring wreath created by my sister in law, Kris.
I placed a stack of vintage picnic baskets in the corner with a bucket of vintage garden hand tools on top.
Also a vintage wire basket of bocce and croquet balls.
My vintage sewing machine drawers hold two ferns from Home Depot in soup cans.
My dilapidated little table from my Junkin' Friend Jodi holds a Boston Fern in a vintage gym locker basket. This is my first year with a Boston Fern outdoors.
I am again displaying my cabinet door frame project with Hobby Lobby letter B from last season.
Other changes this year include a new rug, cushions, and Fusion paint on the Adirondack chairs.
This covered patio seating area is a very special place to enjoy sitting outdoors!

It all looks great and you have inspired me to decorate my front porch with some of my goodies!
ReplyDeleteYour pallet shelf is so clever, what a great idea to add the trays and the knobs on the bottom. Love your cozy patio area and that wonderful wagon wheel.
