Organized Clutter 2015: A Year In Review
December 29, 2015
2015 started off with an easy and inexpensive plant stand made from a thrift shop banana stand.
I later found that a creamer and sugar bowl worked with a banana stand and African violets.
More thrift shop makeovers followed with breadboards as shelves.
I displayed photos on dang near everything! Like this grater turned easel.
A long hallway wall became a fun re-purposed photo gallery here.
Why not add a framed photo to a vintage wood hanger just for fun?
Another photo holder chair back idea.
Garage sale or thrift shop frame ideas like this "EAT" frame.
Junk garden fans had the opportunity to tour four Minnesota junk gardens of my friends and relatives.
What will 2016 bring? More great thrift shop finds to transform and more beautiful flowers to grow among some awesome junk!
I hope you will follow me in 2016 and be inspired to transform some junk into fun and useful home decor!

ReplyDeleteThis all is such a great work! I surely found some good ideas for my old stuff. My daughter loves reusing old household items along with me and it turned into our hobby - our time together. We are definitely trying some of your ideas next weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome you found a way to reuse many old things. I don't want to trash out nothing from my childhood that is why they are stored in boxes... now I can make something useful from them. Thank you for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteSo creative! I've never come across such a cool upcycling project like the one with the old pictures - lovely job!
