Two New Additions to my Junk Garden
June 14, 2016
The first new addition was this little wooden wheelbarrow that I purchased garage sale-ing for $1.
And second, this old sort of chippy slat shutter from an antique shop.
The little wheelbarrow got an *Old Sign Stencils Extension Collection "Vintage" with ivory craft paint and a coat of water based poly. A pot of white impatiens is displayed inside.
Next, I added galvanized, corrugated metal letters I purchased at the Duluth Minnesota Junk Hunt to the shutter with screws.
This is one corner of my deck with the little window that is chippy white on one side, (click here to see details on this vignette.)
And chippy red on the other. It matches the sign perfectly!
*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples.
All opinions about these fabulous products are my own.

ReplyDeleteLove all those recycled pieces, I just got that flower stencil the other day in the mail and started using it. I love that lettering is so light.
