New Flexsteel Furniture for the Living Room
August 30, 2017
I chose this tan and cream herringbone fabric for my new Flexsteel sofa and chair and a half. My fabric choice was a Revolution Performance Fabric:
"Revolution Performance Fabrics® by STI and Brentwood Textiles are true performance fabrics. Woven with Olefin yarn, the fabrics are virtually unstainable, easy to clean, and extremely durable; yet beautiful and soft while also resistant to fading from the sun. Revolution Performance Fabrics® are made with upcycled fibers and have no chemical treatments making them easy on the environment."
Another motivation to choose this fabric was how well it coordinated with my Ballard's burlap curtains.
The sofa and chair and a half are from the Flexsteel Westside Collection.
The lines are pretty contemporary for my usual vintage style, but I think the room seems brighter and updated.
The set is also quite comfortable, which seems to get more and more important to me as I age.
Which brings me to the new Flexsteel Catalina Power Recliner at the right of the photo. The fabric on the recliner is Kashmira, another performance fabric. This fabric is very close to the color of the burlap curtain panels.
This is my third Flexsteel sofa, and my second Flexsteel recliner. I have had great results with Flexsteel products over the last 20 years.
I may do a few more tweaks to this room too!
