I have cut down on Christmas decorating quite a bit in the last few years.
None of my children live in town anymore, and while they still come back home for Christmas, it's just for a few days.

I really love this Old Sign Stencils' "Coffee
Roasters" sign with the addition of "Christmas Blend" from Donna's "Hot Cocoa" stencil. I have positioned the sign, and some vintage items on a built in corner shelf area in my kitchen.
I also stenciled on an enamelware coffee pot and small saucepan. You can get all the details on these projects HERE.
The "Joy" sign on a cabinet door was also an Old Sign Stencils' stencil combo!
All the details on this project are HERE.
I have a small square kitchen. You can see the built in corner shelf at the right, and at the left is my breadboard/cutting board wall vignette that I change up a little during Christmas.
The buffalo check wooden ornament banner project is hanging on my shutter. The little hanging wooden box, a thrift shop find, was upcycled HERE.
Another thrift shop item, a little shelf with drawers, at the far left, received a makeover HERE.
This is my living room mantel area.
I no longer put up a big tree.
For the last few years, I have used this little faux tree that fits on the hearth.
I have made several of the ornaments including the brown paper scroll ornaments from this season, and upcycled the crate HERE.
This upcycled garage sale art canvas, stenciled with the Old Sign Stencils' "Christmas Trees" stencil, worked out perfectly over the mantel in my neutral living room.
See the details on this sign and another version of the stencil HERE.
This 1980's Home Interiors bisque Nativity set is situated on an antique washstand.
This is the dining area of my living room.
I have a simple Christmas centerpiece here, with a large jar of ornaments, a small Hardware Hank white pick up truck with a bottle brush tree, and a pre-lit small faux flocked tree.
I stenciled an old chippy green crate with the "Christmas Trees" stencil as well.
It was a perfect stencil for this crate.
The crate is situated on my coffee table.
The neutral sofa pillow covers (from Hobby Lobby) were stenciled in a project HERE.
The other area I always decorate for holidays is my covered patio.
The round snowflake ornaments were covered in a project post HERE, and the thrift shop cutting board saw sign details are HERE.
The ornaments on the spruce tip bucket on the left were made from fabric and stencils, details HERE.
To the right of the front door, I have a rustic picket fence/crate display, including a fun wooden tree from Little Sister's Antiques.
The Joy sign was a project of mine from last season.
Have a Merry, Merry Christmas EVERYONE!
