I purchased these round placemats at Kohl's a few years ago. Round ones work well with my round table, rectangular ones overlap each other at the corners.
As I was putting away my stencils and paints today, until after Christmas, I grabbed a couple of stencils and gave these red placements a new look.

I have made quite a few projects with this FolkArt Holiday Value Stencil Pack, including Christmas, Halloween and Easter too.
I used the snowflake stencil that I have also used on Hobby Lobby pillow covers, and on my thrift shop upcycled snowflake table for two of the placemats.
I taped it to my round placemat and pounced on the stencil using Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain.
Here is one of the snowflake placemats.
I stenciled another with the snowflake stencil.
I used the buck head stencil that was also used on a thrift shop cutting board project.
I taped this stencil onto my placemat with blue painter's tape, and pounced on the stencil using Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain.
Here is one of the deer placemats.
Here are all four of my place mats on the table.
I love a farmhouse style kitchen!
I have another very easy project that began with this thrift shop frame with a square center.
I painted the frame with Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in CAVIAR. I distressed the edges of the frame with 220 grit sandpaper, and applied a light coat of Dixie Belle Paint Best Dang Wax in Clear with a clean lint free rag.
I used one of the little 4" x 4" stencils from Joann Fabrics (only available in stores) to stencil on brown kraft paper.
I used Ceramcoat white craft paint to stencil the words.
Here is the finished brown paper framed Christmas sign! The stencil fit the frame opening perfectly.
Instructions for the snowball pails are HERE.
