Easy Hobby Lobby Easter Craft Projects
April 03, 2019
I purchased this little wooden, unfinished Easter bunny at Hobby Lobby.
It was marked $3.99, but you can almost always purchase them in the store for 40-50% off. It's in the Easter crafts section of the store, item #5176482.
(When you click on the bold Amazon, Old Sign Stencils or Dixie Belle Paint Company affiliate links you will be taken to the products I use for this project. If you order it does not change the price or service at all. As an Amazon Affiliate, Old Sign Stencils Affiliate or Dixie Belle Paint Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.)
I brushed on a couple of coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Drop Cloth.
All sides are painted in the Drop Cloth paint.

I think the only holiday that I haven't used my *Old Sign Stencils Buffalo Check Stencil on was Easter, until now.
I stenciled the checks on with Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in CAVIAR. I sealed the stencils and paint with Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax in Clear.
I used very little wax, and wiped it down after about 15 minutes.
*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.
I purchased two of these sets of connected metal pots at Hobby Lobby. The sale price is $5.99.
I also bought these rub on transfers at Hobby Lobby,
AND these rub on transfers too.
I added "The Lord is my Shepherd", a Cross, and "God is Love" rub-ons to my three pots.
I made a mistake on one of the pot rub ons, and had to scrape it off with my finger nail to remove it.
When I got all three rub-ons applied correctly, I sprayed just the transfer area with Krylon Clear Coatings Aerosol in Satin Finish. Just one coat.
Two of the little pots are filled with shredded craft paper and little decorative speckled eggs. These are from Kmart.
The third pot has a faux spring potted plant.
Easy Easter decor!
