I picked up this vintage fruit crate for $5.
The Daisy California Fruit Label is still in pretty good shape. I scrubbed the inside and outside of the crate, except for the label.

I purchased this stencil pack at Joann Fabrics.
The regular price is $12.99 without using a coupon.
The package has four farmhouse style light plastic stencils.
I will be using two phrases from this stencil.
I taped the stencil onto one end of the crate, and pounced on the stencil using Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash.
I stenciled "Fresh Fruit" and "Locally Grown" on the other two sides.
I stenciled "Fresh Fruit" and "Locally Grown" on the other two sides.
I didn't seal the stenciling. Fusion Mineral Paint is quite durable.
The stenciled crate makes a fun fall container vignette.
Do you like container vignettes?
The label is still intact!
A California Fruit vignette or vintage kitchen vignette will work with the label side of the crate.
