I picked up these three little buffalo check cloth mini bags at Dollar General recently for $1.
Time to create more semi-homemade ornaments!

First I slid a piece of cardboard into one of the bags.
Next I pulled out a Hobby Lobby snowflake stencil.
I purchased this one in a prior year, but it's still available online and maybe in stores too.
I then pounced on three different snowflake stencils on the three bags using Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain. (affiliate link)
I found these 6" cinnamon sticks at a local grocery store for $1.67 on sale. They will work perfectly with my project!
I untied the knot in one of the sides of the bag, threaded a jingle bell on one jute string, and tied the bag shut in the front.
I cut a loop of jute and hot glued it on the back of the bag like so.
I ended up untying the bags and sticking a Kleenex in the bottom of each bag. I tore them in two and stuffed half in each corner of the bags.
They turned out pretty cute.
I just love red and black buffalo checks for Christmas!
