I found these two wire baskets with cloth liners at Dollar General this week.
The smaller basket was priced at $5, and the larger at $7.
Quite reasonable, huh? I think I can use them as hostess gifts and/or Christmas gifts.

I will be using the small "Fall Greetings" from the 2019 Old Sign Stencils fall collection for my Thanksgiving hostess gift idea.
I removed the cloth liner from the smaller metal basket.
I taped it onto a piece of cardboard along the folded over edge of the liner.
I decided to stencil "Pumpkin Express" and "Hello Harvest" on the basket liner.
I measured the fall greeting stencils and taped off the measured area for the stencil. (This is very important to get it centered and straight the first time, as there's no fix when stenciling on cloth with touch up paint or sandpaper.)
I chose a small stencil brush and Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash. I dabbed and swirled the brush on the paper plate over and over until it was pretty dry.
"Pumpkin Express" is stenciled without a hitch.
Here is the basket filled with cloth pumpkins!
The flip side of the basket stenciled with "Hello Harvest".
A great gift idea for your Thanksgiving Day hostess!
Details on the fall wagon sign above the basket can be found HERE.
Pin for later!
I taped the larger basket's liner on my cardboard piece the long way.
I stenciled "Wash - Dry - Fold" on one side of the basket liner with the Laundry Stencil from *Old Sign Stencils, and Fusion Mineral Paints in Ash and Fort York Red.
I stenciled the stars in red.
This stenciled laundry basket would make a great Christmas gift!
The wooden hangers in the basket were stenciled in a post HERE.
I used "Bake - Cook - Create" from the Pantry stencil by *Old Sign Stencils for the flip side of the larger basket.
Both sides could be stenciled with the same stencil. Just giving stencil ideas.
Also a fun idea for cookbooks, utensils, etc.
All prices on the Old Sign Stencils's website are listed in Canadian currency. A handy currency conversion link is provided for your convenience.
*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.
Thanks for visiting, and happy stenciling!
