I was in Bemidji, Minnesota, last Saturday, and was able to check out Target's Dollar Spot.
I loved these little plastic cedar, boxwood, AND,
Rosemary sprig packages.
I purchased two cedar packages of four, one boxwood package of three, and one package of four rosemary sprigs.
I also stopped at Hobby Lobby, and purchased these Peace and Noel galvanized ornaments at Hobby Lobby for $2.50 each.
There is a third galvanized ornament too, Joy.
I had a few small clothespins on hand that are about one inch long and 1/8" wide.
There were mini clothespins on a brown paper card in the Dollar Spot. Maybe 5-6 pins for $1. Hobby Lobby has them as well HERE.
I added a red button to one of my wooden mini clothespins with hot glue.
Then I simply used the clothespin to attach a Target Dollar Spot Cedar Sprig to each Hobby Lobby galvanized Christmas tree ornament.
The cedar sprig fit almost perfectly!
The ornaments were perfectly fine as is, but easy and inexpensive add-ons make them so much better.
My cousin gave me these three burlap and wire fabric candy cane ornaments.
I thought a couple of easy and inexpensive add-ons could embellish these ornaments as well.
I purchased these Merry Christmas Kraft Tag package at Hobby Lobby for $1.99. (50% off regular price).
These are Christmas paper crafts and only available in store.
Eighteen paper tags, in six different designs, were in the package.
I once again pulled out my Hobby Lobby Adhesive Holiday Icons stencil pack.
I stenciled three of the tags with three different adhesive stencils using Fusion Mineral Paint in Champlain.
After stenciling the tags, I tied the tags onto the burlap candy canes using thin jute twine and a 1/2" jingle bell.
One has a candy cane stencil.
One a sprig of holly.
And lastly, one has a big buck.
I hope you like these easy crafting tips to enhance very plain and inexpensive ornaments into craft sale/boutique style ornaments.
Thanks for visiting!
