I have a thing for vintage hangers. Especially wooden ones, but wire ones too.
I found these mini 3" x 4" wire craft hangers at our local hobby and crafts shop. They were $1.19 each.
Darice bulk pack hangers are available on Amazon.

For my latest ornament project, I have ironed both muslin and a white flour sack dish cloth to HeatnBond UltraHold Iron-On Adhesive.
Then I cut out 4" x 4" squares, after tracing 4" x 4" squares, onto the paper side of the HeatnBond. (Follow directions on the HeatnBond package.)

Next I pulled the paper backing off my fabric squares and ironed them onto Pellon Extra Firm Stabilizer.
These are the bright white flour sack squares.
My stencil is from a super inexpensive paper Christmas stencil package at Joann Fabrics. The stencils are 4" x 4" like my fabric squares.
I stenciled the Nordic style pattern onto my white fabric squares with Fusion Mineral Paint in Fort York Red.
I then used these 1" x 1/8" mini clothespins to attach my fabric squares to the mini hangers.
I brushed one coat of Fort York Red paint on two of the hangers.
Simple, inexpensive, Nordic style ornaments.
The two muslin fabric squares were stenciled with a paper holiday stencil from Joann Fabrics in 2018.
I stenciled the fabric with Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash.

I didn't paint the hangers for these two ornaments, but I did rub on the word "Joyful" from Tim Holtz Christmas Remnant Rubs onto the clothespins.
