November 16, 2019
This old bucket is going to be part of my Christmas covered patio decor.
AND, so is this enamelware coffeepot.

First I cleaned up the bucket with hot soapy, Dawn Dish Soap water, and Krud Kutter on heavier soil.
Luckily, Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencils has a new Christmas line of stencils for 2019.
I used just the lettering on the Reindeer Food stencil on my bucket, along with Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash.

*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.
Here is the bucket, all stenciled, and filled with hay (Reindeer food). Actually it's dried Purple Fountain Grass.
I added the bucket to the stenciled skates and other rustic Christmas decor from a recent post.
I also used the Christmas Crates stencil today.
But just this corner area.
I centered the stencil onto the bottom section of one side of the coffeepot, and taped it down.
I again used Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash. I also held the stencil down tight with my left fingers while pouncing.
When stenciling on shiny enamelware, I pounce two light coats rather than one heavy coat. Less chance of stencil bleed.
This is the stenciled coffeepot with "Tare Weight: 3 Candy Canes. My candy canes are buffalo check wrapped. I purchased them at a local drug store for $2.50 each.
The coffeepot will be part of my outdoor Christmas decor too!
I have designed my covered patio decor around Old Sign Stencils for several years now. The stencils work so perfectly with my rustic Christmas style.
Previous years:
I have a few more projects to go for the covered patio.
Thanks for visiting!
