I recently picked up this sister photo holder in the frame section of our local thrift shop.
I paid $1.50.

It had a shiplap look to it with faux separated boards, and a black mini clip at the top to hold a photo of a sister.
I brushed a couple of coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Furniture Paint in Drop Cloth
onto the frame.
When dry, I very lightly sanded the edges with 220 grit sandpaper to distress.

I found this Martha Stewart Herb Garden adhesive stencil at Michael's on Black Friday.
I chose the rosemary stencil and pressed it in place on my board.
I swirled the stencil on using Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash
and waxed the piece with Dixie Belle Easy Peasy Spray Wax.

I purchased these rosemary sprigs from the Target Dollar Spot on Black Friday. They were $1, and boxwood and cedar sprigs were available as well.
After screwing the black mini clip back on the frame, I snipped the thick ends off of two sprigs and attached them on the left side.
I think my rosemary frame is a perfect accent in a farmhouse kitchen!
I purchased the faux rosemary in the bottle at a local floral shop. I hope you liked this easy project.
