I found this little Galvanized Metal Wall Organizer at a Hobby Lobby store in Bemidji, Minnesota. It was on sale $3.49. Perfect price for a DIY project.
Besides the Hobby Lobby wall organizer, I am using one of my square cabinet doors purchased on clearance from Menards.
I painted the cabinet door with two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Drop Cloth.
The metal organizer fit the cabinet door quite well and it was attached with screws.
Since the metal container was added tightly with screws as shown above, the metal container doesn't move much.
Donna from Funky Junk/Old Sign Stencils has done it again with Valentine's Crates. The stencil phrases can be added to almost anything, not only crates.
Both Old Sign Stencils's Shipping Crate Stamps and Christmas Crates stencils proved to be super versatile. I used them on crates, pillows, signs, and more!
I added some of the above new Valentine's stencil phrases to the cabinet door, using Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash. The cabinet door was waxed with Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax in Clear.
A sawtooth was added to the back for hanging.
My Valentine's Day metal organizer can hold faux flowers or even Valentines.
It's a very farmhouse style holiday decor piece.
All prices on the Old Sign Stencils's website are listed in Canadian currency. A handy currency conversion link is provided for your convenience.
*Old Sign Stencils provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.
