I love upcycling chairs, even these little metal child's folding chairs.
I am also sharing 15 other chair upcycle projects that I have completed in the past!

After washing the chair with hot soapy Dawn Dish Soap water, I brushed on a couple of coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Midnight Sky. Midnight sky is a black navy blue.
I used a foam brush.
I then pulled out my French style Chateau de Villandry stencil from Maison de Stencils.
I pounced on the stencil in two parts, Chateau across the chair back and the rest of the stencil on the seat. I chose Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Drop Cloth for the lettering.
I sealed the paint and stencils with Dixie Belle Easy Peasy Spray Wax.
It's adorable!
I like to hang folded folding chairs on the wall like a sign! Especially child's chairs.
I think I will be adding this one somewhere at my house.
I also used the French stencil on the top of an old picnic basket.
I used Fusion Mineral Paint in Ash for the lettering.
Now for the other chair makeovers:
Time to look for more chairs! Thanks for visiting!
