Washboard Upcycle & Repurpose Projects For The Home & Garden

This rustic washboard planter was a big hit on Pinterest and Facebook. It was easy to put together with my tutorial in the link.

The washboard planter was in the garden for the summer. It was part of junky container gardens along my deck.
This washboard wall art project had a few mixed reactions because I cut the legs off my washboards, attached them, and hung them on my laundry room wall. How I joined them is in the link.
This is an older photo, but I still have the washboards on my laundry room wall, right next to my kitchen.
This garage sale washboard planter was really never a real washboard. It was made for wall decor. The before photo and upcycle information are available in the link.
This washboard sign now hangs in my small bathroom, along with old hangers. I flipped the washboard over, and painted and stenciled the sign on the back.
I used a half moon wood cutout from the thrift shop for this washboard shelf. Stencil and shelf information can be found in this link.
This shabby chic washboard was dye stained and purchased at a garage sale. I painted it, and added a metal bin, and design transfers.
