A Thrifted Galvanized Garden Pitcher Gets A Makeover With Paint & A Dollar Tree Stencil
March 01, 2021
I purchased the faded pansy pitcher and the globe at the thrift shop.
I gave the pitcher a makeover with help from Dollar Store supplies.

I removed the paper pansy label from the pitcher, and cleaned it up for painting.
I brushed on two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Drop Cloth.
Next, I pulled out the stencil on the right from Dollar Tree.
This will be the third project that I have used this stencil on.
I taped the stencil on the pitcher with blue painter's tape.
I pounced on the stencil using Dixie Belle Chalk Finish Paint in Caviar.
I did not distress the pitcher at all. I waxed it with Dixie Belle Easy Peasy Wax and a rag.
I purchased this faux Pothos Vine stem from Dollar Tree.
It's really not too bad.
I like the pitcher, the drop cloth color paint, the stencil, and the faux greenery!
It coordinates perfectly with my desk top boxes from this Dollar Tree post.
Easy and inexpensive decor ideas!
Another project with this Dollar Tree Stencil.
