I purchased these three little wooden mini clipboards at Dollar Tree recently.

They were $1 each, and I found them near the frame section.

First I stained the little clipboards with Aged Wood Accelerator in Brown.  This is a water based wood ager, and it dries pretty fast.

I wiped some of the stain off to keep them from getting too dark.

A 2' section of cedar fence board from Menard's was cut from the 1" x 4" x 5' picket.

I applied AMACO Rub 'n Buff Metallic Wax in Antique Gold, with a Q-tip, to a  Metal Tag Frame (2 3/4").

I also rubbed some of the antique gold on the clips of the clipboards to reduce some of the shininess.

Next, the mini clipboards were screwed into the fence board about 2" apart.

A sawtooth hanger was attached to the back of the board.

A tag was printed on my inkjet printer on white cardstock.

I hung three old black and white photos on the clipboards.  The top one is my dad, the middle one my mom, and the bottom one me.

The weathered and aged wood accelerators give the project a reclaimed wood appearance.

Sometimes photos attached with clips like this will develop a curl in time.

I stick a piece of rolled blue painter's tape behind the photo to hold it down.
