Fall Cutting Board Shaped Coasters Added To A DIY Banner & A Fall Crate Vignette
September 14, 2021
I purchased this set of
four fall, cutting board shaped coasters at our local Menards.
They were perfect for a fall project that I had in mind!

I laid out the four coasters on the table, along with sixteen Natural Wood 3/4" Round Beads.
Next, I threaded jute through two beads and added a coaster. I tied
the coaster on with a knot so the coaster would hang front-wise. (Tape on the end of the jute made it much easier to thread through the bead holes.)
I then added four beads and another coaster, spacing the holes 6"
apart.
I pulled out more of my fall plaid flannel fabrics recently purchased
at Hobby Lobby and Joann Fabrics. I ended up just using two of the
plaids as the red plaid with orange had a white backing.
I tore strips of fabric the gray plaid and orange/blue plaid about 1"
wide.
I tied two strips of each plaid (4 strips) onto the jute to separate the
four beads between coasters.
I hung my banner by loops tied at the ends of my jute.
In 2019, I stenciled this old fruit crate HERE.
This fall, I filled the crate with my flannel covered books,
faux pumpkins, a galvanized vase of
faux berries from Hobby Lobby, a small cheese crock with faux fall foliage and a vintage orange
thermos.
Here is my farmhouse style fall banner and crate vignette!
Pin for later!
