This midcentury wooden tray was found in late 2021 at Goodwill.

I love these little vintage trays. I also like the similar pedestal bowls too.

I washed the tray with hot soapy Dawn Dish Soap water and a rag.

I then started brushing on Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in Dried Sage.  Dixie Belle's website states that Dried Sage is a soft gray with green undertones. When you enter a room with this neutral tone, you’ll feel instantly at ease!

Use Dried Sage in your contemporary living room, modern farmhouse kitchen or French provincial bedroom. This soft color looks lovely distressed with a dark wax or paired with Drop Cloth!

It is one of my newer paint colors from Dixie Belle, and I really like it.

Dixie Belle Paint Company has provided me with complimentary product samples. All opinions about this fabulous paint are my own.

This is a great package of labels that can be used on MANY smaller projects!

I chose a Flower and Garden seeds design from the transfer and cut it out.

I then rubbed on the transfer using the enclosed rectangular stick.

Next I waxed the piece with Dixie Belle's Best Dang Wax in Clear.

All that was left to do, was to fill the tray with decor.

I added a basket with faux potted lavender and a small bird figurine.

Maybe you remember another tray from my blog.

I upcycled this midcentury style tray several years ago with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White.

I have used it on my coffee table with faux plants inside and vintage flower frogs.

I have also added a large jar of buttons to my tray.

AND, the tray has come in handy at the holidays too!

Thanks for visiting.
