Dollar Tree Storage Bin For A Christmas Norfolk Pine
September 22, 2022
I purchased a tiny Norfolk Pine at Christmas time several years ago. It was only about 4" tall. (A Norfolk Pine is not really a pine tree, by the way)
I kept the Norfolk Pine alive after Christmas, and eventually transplanted it into a bigger, but plain, plastic pot. It has grown quite a bit, and spends its summers on my covered patio.

One day while at Dollar Tree, I noticed this buffalo check fabric, collapsible, storage bin.
I purchased the 9" x 9" x 8" bin for $1.25.
Next, I pulled out my Old Sign Stencils Christmas Trees stencil,
I love both of these stencils, that coordinate perfectly with each other and other stencils in the Old Sign Stencils Christmas season line!
*Old Sign Stencils has provided me with complimentary samples. All opinions about these fabulous stencils are my own.
The large word "Trees" fit under the handle on the bin.
I held the stencil in place, and pounced on the word using Fusion Mineral Paint in Raw Silk.
The area above the handle was stenciled with the Christmas Trees mini stencil's "Pine - Spruce -Fir".
My boring plastic pot fit nicely inside the bin!
At Christmas time this buffalo check bin with fit in nicely with my other red and black buffalo check decorations!
I added one of the Old Sign Stencils Botanical Flowers & Plants stencil on another bin.
I set a fern from my covered patio in the bin, but it would definitely be better with a blooming plant.
This is a great idea to dress up plain pots, pots in the wrong color, etc.
