In January, I was contacted by email by a Wall Street Journal reporter. To be honest, at first I thought it could be spam. I called the phone number he had given me, and he was in fact a Wall Street Journal reporter.

I had recently posted a washboard project on my blog, and apparently he had ran across it. He was in the process of writing a story on the last washboard company in America. The story was posted both online and in the print version in late January.

Although the final story did not include the photos I had emailed him, it did contain a couple paragraphs about me.
